Here are pictures of both girls - Molly at 6 weeks and Lexie at 8 weeks in the same bikini. Do you see any similarities?

Christmas...and Bikinis! :)
Christmas sure was fun this year! Molly's excitement was something else. She loved opening presents but got impatient when it wasn't her turn. Something to be expected from a two year old!
Lexie was great with all the gatherings and enjoyed being held by all of her aunts, uncles, grandparents, and even some extended family members.
Ryan is home until January 4, so we are trying to come up with things to do each day, as my hubby tends to have ants in his pants when he isn't entertained! :) We bought a Wii and have been playing at night. We get competitive (imagine that!) and could
probably stay up all night playing.
And yes, we did put the girls in bikinis today. :)

Time Flies
Boy does time fly. Christmas is right around the corner, Lexie will be 7 weeks old this week, and Molly talks like a 10 year old, not a 2 year old. Where did my baby go? Good thing Lexie is our baby now! :) Lexie continues to confuse us with her lack of sleep during the day. Some days she will go 5 hours without sleeping. This then leads to a rough night of going to sleep. She seems to really like her swing and her mobile on her crib. Motion and soft singing are favorites of hers right now. Here are a few pictures of the girls from the last couple of weeks. Lexie is changing every day!

Happy Friday!
We are getting into a bit of a routine, which Mommy likes! :) Lexie has taken a GREAT nap each afternoon, which has allowed me to get some stuff done around the house and even hop on the treadmill a couple of days! Both girls napped at the same time Tuesday and Thursday - that was awesome! Hopefully that will continue for a very long time!
Have a great weekend!

Two Weeks
Lexie was two weeks old yesterday, and she is changing every day! She has a couple alert times each day, which is really fun. Molly loves to hold her, lay with her, and give her kisses. She is such a great big sister!
Lexie is sleeping great at night - 4-5 hours between feedings. The days and evenings are not quite as smooth as she seems to be quite picky about noise and distractions while she sleeps. Hopefully she will adjust as there is no way we can expect Molly to be quiet, and daycare is not going to be quiet either, that is for sure!

Fun Weekend!
We had an eventful weekend! Friday night Molly and I went to an elementary school carnival with Emily and Ethan Cahalan. They did the cake walk, went fishing, mini golfed, etc. Suckers were a popular prize!
Sunday we went to the local pumpkin farm with Jeff, Martha, and Cooper Reynolds. We went on a hayride, saw animals, jumped in a big blow up pumpkin, went down slides, and of course, picked out pumpkins! Molly LOVED it!
Here are a couple more cute pictures from the week.
Gotta end this post with our favorite pics - in the bathtub!

I Like To Talk
Just a quick note...I put Molly to bed last night as I always do - lay her down, say her prayer, give her kisses, rub her belly for a minute, then leave. Most nights, she talks or sings for a few minutes then falls asleep. Last night she was yelling for me. So I went in and told her she needed to be quiet, close her eyes, and go to sleep because it was nigh-night time. She looked at me and said, "But Mommy..I'm Molly Ann Ratchford and I like to talk!" What do I say to that? :)

No More Shots!
Today was the day of doctors' visits. Molly first had a follow-up visit with her ENT to check on her tubes. She did great - told the doctor "Hello!" when he came in, sat in my lap, let him peek in her ears, and even opened her mouth and said, "Aaaahhh!" All was good! Then, we went to her pediatrician's office so we could both get flu shots. NOT GOOD! After having the shot, she cried - I mean big sobs and tears - for over 30 minutes. She must have worn herself out, as she took almost a 3 hour nap this afternoon and woke up very happy. This doesn't look like a sad girl!
