Anybody Wanna "Pay"?

Molly has certainly become a chatterbox. I am amazed at what she says every day. Yesterday, her new word was "umbrella". In Molly talk, it is "bwella". So cute! :) Today, she was all about the potty. She pulled it out of the bathroom closet and begged me to take her pants and diaper off. She sat on it for quite some time and kept saying "pee pee". I am hoping this is a sign that she will be easy to train!

Molly now likes to play (or "pay"). Whether it be reading books, playing prince and princess, with her babies, etc., she is happy! She has also been very into Dora (and her pals Boots and Diego), Mickey Mouse and friends, and Elmo and the other Sesame Street. She loves to read books about these characters and talk about other things in the books.

Here is a picture of her playing doctor on Mr. Potato Head

This picture cracks me up - while we were playing with Mr. Potato Head, all of a sudden out of nowhere she was putting his ears in her ears. If you look close, you will see them!

Other than that, Molly has been fighting a cold this past week. She has been loving the ice cream. Who doesn't like ice cream when they don't feel good - I know it always makes me feel better! :)

I am off to San Francisco tomorrow for an entire week! Yeah, that means I don't get back until next Saturday. Yikes! This will be the first time I will be away from Molly for more than 2 nights. Crazy, huh? I know it will all be fine, but I think I will be very lonely! My training will keep my busy until about 4pm each day, then it's free time! I am staying right down in the middle of city - not far from Chinatown, the Bay, etc. SO, there should be plenty to do if I want to venture out. We will see! Hopefully I will post a message or two and maybe even upload a picture or a few while I am gone.

Chuck E Cheese

We visited Chuck E Cheese with some friends Sunday night: Jeff, Martha, and Cooper (13 months) Reynolds, and Luke, Amy, and Colin (14.5 months) Lesyshen. It was Molly and her two boyfriends! :) When we were sitting eating dinner we realized all three of us moms have January birthdays. Fun way to celebrate! :) Here are a few pictures from our evening!

Molly really liked this flying bicycle thing. Ryan had to pedal the bike to make her fly!

Giddy up! Ride 'em horsey!

Lots of Snow

The snow just keeps coming and coming! It was finally warm enough to take Molly out and let her play. It was quite humorous and she wouldn't leave the very back of the garage for quite some time. She was afraid of the snow. It didn't take her long, though, to run around and fall in it.

December 2008

Wow - it's been a while since my last post. December has been a busy month, but a very fun month. We celebrated Christmas with different families for 6 days. Molly had fun playing with her cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents and re-meeting some extended family members as well.

Everything related to Christmas that Molly sees (Santa, Christmas tree, snowman), she says "ho ho". Kind of funny that everything related to Christmas is a "ho ho". Hee Hee.

We weren't sure how excited Molly would be with opening presents, but she dove right in. Every present she opened, she would then say "open"... as she wanted us to open the toy so she could play with it.

Molly loves playing in her kitchen, reading her new books (she has really gotten into Dora, Pooh, and Elmo lately), and sitting her "Molly" chair. This is a child size cushiony chair with her name on it (SO CUTE!). We have determined that Molly is definitely no baby anymore. Time just flies with little ones.

We wish you a wonderful New Year!

17 Months!

We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We were able to spend time with Ryan's family on Thursday and my family on Saturday, so it was great fun! Molly was such a good girl - she was so excited to play with Kenzie, Brady, and Brent and to give kisses to Tanner. Having cousins is so much fun!

Molly is 17 months old today - we can hardly believe it! She is starting to really talk and repeat what we say. Here are some pictures from the last couple of weeks....

Miss Independent

Molly is now into feeding herself. Here she is eating yogurt from the container. She does pretty good, however, yogurt is usually everywhere (including in her hair) when she is done!

Molly and Daddy have discovered a fun game - put Molly in a clothes basket with a pillow, blanket, and lots of babies, and Daddy pulls her all around the living room. She loves it!

Too Cute

I just have to post this picture. Molly found her sunglasses in a drawer and insisted on wearing them around the house for a while. She didn't even pull them off!
