We had an eventful weekend! Friday night Molly and I went to an elementary school carnival with Emily and Ethan Cahalan. They did the cake walk, went fishing, mini golfed, etc. Suckers were a popular prize!
Sunday we went to the local pumpkin farm with Jeff, Martha, and Cooper Reynolds. We went on a hayride, saw animals, jumped in a big blow up pumpkin, went down slides, and of course, picked out pumpkins! Molly LOVED it!

Here are a couple more cute pictures from the week.
Gotta end this post with our favorite pics - in the bathtub!
Just a quick note...I put Molly to bed last night as I always do - lay her down, say her prayer, give her kisses, rub her belly for a minute, then leave. Most nights, she talks or sings for a few minutes then falls asleep. Last night she was yelling for me. So I went in and told her she needed to be quiet, close her eyes, and go to sleep because it was nigh-night time. She looked at me and said, "But Mommy..I'm Molly Ann Ratchford and I like to talk!" What do I say to that? :)
Today was the day of doctors' visits. Molly first had a follow-up visit with her ENT to check on her tubes. She did great - told the doctor "Hello!" when he came in, sat in my lap, let him peek in her ears, and even opened her mouth and said, "Aaaahhh!" All was good! Then, we went to her pediatrician's office so we could both get flu shots. NOT GOOD! After having the shot, she cried - I mean big sobs and tears - for over 30 minutes. She must have worn herself out, as she took almost a 3 hour nap this afternoon and woke up very happy. This doesn't look like a sad girl!
I have been a horrible blogger this summer - sorry! The last 6 or 7 weeks haven't been out of the ordinary busy, but I guess the blogging just took a back seat! The summer was lots of fun for us. I sure enjoyed spending my days with Molly, trying to play some golf, and just not working. Molly got used to "running errands" with me. If we hadn't gone somewhere by 11, she would come say me to "run errans". So cute. So, we would go somewhere - even with no agenda! Molly has definitely found the 2's. She is still a very smart, good girl most of the time, but she sure has her naughty, stubborn, independent moments. Gotta luv it!
Molly and I spent a couple of days one week at Clear Lake with Papa and Meme. Other than that, we didn't make it up other than the one time over the 4th. Ryan and I spent a great day at the PGA Championship in Minneapolis. The weather was great, so this pregnant lady lasted quite some time! We saw all the players we wanted to and what a great course to see! We look forward to being able to go to more PGA events in the future.
Classes at UNI started this week, but I had Molly back to school a couple of weeks ago. I wasn't sure how the first day would go, but when we walked into the room and after I had talked with the teacher for a couple of minutes, she looked at me and said, "Mommy, go bye-bye...I want to play." I guess she was okay!
I have 10 weeks to go until Baby #2 is here! If last night is any indication, I might have some long days and tired nights. BUT, it is all worth it and won't last for long! Ryan and I are close to having her room ready. We have it painted, partially decorated, some stuff bought, other stuff of Molly's washed. Crazy to think we will have 2 little girls in about 2 months. Wow! So exciting!
Here are some pictures of Molly from the last several weeks. She is something else....
Riding in the cart while Mommy and Daddy play golf...or try to play golf!
