Fun at the Park

We have become frequent visitors of the park at Lincoln School in town. Molly loves it! Here are some pictures from this evening. Grammy Shelley came with us!

Where Did The Summer Go?

I have been a horrible blogger this summer - sorry! The last 6 or 7 weeks haven't been out of the ordinary busy, but I guess the blogging just took a back seat! The summer was lots of fun for us. I sure enjoyed spending my days with Molly, trying to play some golf, and just not working. Molly got used to "running errands" with me. If we hadn't gone somewhere by 11, she would come say me to "run errans". So cute. So, we would go somewhere - even with no agenda! Molly has definitely found the 2's. She is still a very smart, good girl most of the time, but she sure has her naughty, stubborn, independent moments. Gotta luv it!

Molly and I spent a couple of days one week at Clear Lake with Papa and Meme. Other than that, we didn't make it up other than the one time over the 4th. Ryan and I spent a great day at the PGA Championship in Minneapolis. The weather was great, so this pregnant lady lasted quite some time! We saw all the players we wanted to and what a great course to see! We look forward to being able to go to more PGA events in the future.

Classes at UNI started this week, but I had Molly back to school a couple of weeks ago. I wasn't sure how the first day would go, but when we walked into the room and after I had talked with the teacher for a couple of minutes, she looked at me and said, "Mommy, go bye-bye...I want to play." I guess s
he was okay!

I have 10 weeks to go until Baby #2 is here! If last night is an
y indication, I might have some long days and tired nights. BUT, it is all worth it and won't last for long! Ryan and I are close to having her room ready. We have it painted, partially decorated, some stuff bought, other stuff of Molly's washed. Crazy to think we will have 2 little girls in about 2 months. Wow! So exciting!

Here are some pictures of Molly from the last several weeks. She is something else.... Riding in the cart while Mommy and Daddy play golf...or try to play golf!

Playing with chalk in the driveway.

Happy girl reading books!

Parks, Lakes, and Pools

The title of this one pretty much sums up what has been keeping us busy this past week. We had a fun weekend at Clear Lake. Molly LOVED the jet ski, or "little boat" as she called it. She also swam with Daddy and played in a big tube. Molly even stayed up for the fireworks - she called them "pretties in the sky". Enjoy the pictures!

It's A...

Girl! More pink is in our future! We had our ultrasound yesterday, and the doctor said, "it's as girlie as girlie can be" when he saw the female organs. Everything looked great in the ultrasound. She didn't, however, cooperate when we tried to get a good look at her face. She had both hands up over it, but we did catch a glimpse of her mouth and nose, though!

Molly's 2nd Birthday Party!

Today we celebrated Molly's 2nd birthday with a Dora-themed party with our families. She had such a great time!

Here is a picture of Molly waiting patiently for her favorite part - cake and ice cream!

Molly digging in!

Molly sitting with her presents.

On her new Dora bike, talking on her new Dora cell phone.

Sitting at her new table and chairs with her new chef hat and apron on.

Like my new tu-tu?

Happy Birthday Girl!

Playing at the Pool

We have had a couple of fun trips to the pool in the last week. Molly loves to lay on her belly. Trouble is, she wants Mommy to lay with her, too. That doesn't work so well! She is trying to blow bubbles but doesn't quite have that figured out yet. If Ryan or I go under water, she then wants to go under. So, we dunk her! She comes up smiling and laughing. Glad we don't have a little one who is scared of the water!

Both trips to the pool have been without a swim diaper. She has told me two times each trip that she has to go potty, so I quick grab her and off to the bathroom we go! I would definitely say she is potty trained during the day, which is awesome! I have a break from changing diapers for a few months now! :)

Speaking of the new little one, my ultrasound is in less than a week - on Monday! Yes, we plan to find out the sex of the baby. I will post pictures and let you know Monday night. We are excited!

Fun at the Lake

We spent the weekend at Clear Lake. Molly loved the boat - she would put her hands above her head and say, "BOAT RIDE!".
