It's A...

Girl! More pink is in our future! We had our ultrasound yesterday, and the doctor said, "it's as girlie as girlie can be" when he saw the female organs. Everything looked great in the ultrasound. She didn't, however, cooperate when we tried to get a good look at her face. She had both hands up over it, but we did catch a glimpse of her mouth and nose, though!

Molly's 2nd Birthday Party!

Today we celebrated Molly's 2nd birthday with a Dora-themed party with our families. She had such a great time!

Playing at the Pool

We have had a couple of fun trips to the pool in the last week. Molly loves to lay on her belly. Trouble is, she wants Mommy to lay with her, too. That doesn't work so well! She is trying to blow bubbles but doesn't quite have that figured out yet. If Ryan or I go under water, she then wants to go under. So, we dunk her! She comes up smiling and laughing. Glad we don't have a little one who is scared of the water!


Both trips to the pool have been without a swim diaper. She has told me two times each trip that she has to go potty, so I quick grab her and off to the bathroom we go! I would definitely say she is potty trained during the day, which is awesome! I have a break from changing diapers for a few months now! :)

Speaking of the new little one, my ultrasound is in less than a week - on Monday! Yes, we plan to find out the sex of the baby. I will post pictures and let you know Monday night. We are excited!

Fun at the Lake

We spent the weekend at Clear Lake. Molly loved the boat - she would put her hands above her head and say, "BOAT RIDE!".

WOW....

Wow. What a week this has been so far. We have the smartest, most determined little girl. Why? Glad you asked! I decided this was the week to potty train Molly. She had used the potty at school last week and has been showing lots of interest, so why not! Monday was a rough day. We went through LOTS of panties, and Molly was SO upset. It made her so mad when she would go potty in her panties. It made her so mad, that she hasn't done it since Monday! That's right - we have had 3 days of no accidents (except one minor one last night)! We are SO very proud of our little girl! I even ventured out to a friend's house and my parents' house tonight, and she went potty at both places. Wow. That is all I say. I hope it continues!

Molly has just been wearing a t-shirt and panties these past few days, so it is easy for her to get her panties down (easy access, right?) Here are a couple of pictures - she will love me for taking these some day! :)


Last week, Molly and I made cupcakes for Meme's (my mom) birthday and for her last day of school for the summer. She was a big help - as she is with everything!

Big Girl

Molly graduated from the high chair to a booster chair at the table this week. She thought she was pretty hot stuff! It is hard to believe she is sitting at the big table, using a fork, eating what we do. Time really does fly with little ones - it's unreal.... She loves to help me water the flowers. She has her own Dora watering can and loves it. However, in these pictures, it looks like she is watering the rocks! :)Did ya notice her kitty boots? She was in charge of putting her shoes on. :)

Molly's First Haircut

Molly had her first haircut yesterday - June 1. She did such a good job! She loved sitting on the big chair, wearing the cape, and of course, helping with a comb and the blow dryer!
